About the course

|

Located on the shores of Lake Hartwell in the mountains of northeast Georgia, Currahee Club features a championship, 18-hole course designed by architect Jim Fazio, and opened for play late summer 2003. The Currahee Course is a mountain style layout, and offers up stunning views of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains, Tugaloo River and Lake Hartwell. Many holes have 360-degree views of up to nearly 50-miles. The rolling fairways feature dramatic elevation changes (up to 350-feet in some areas of the course) and the generous, sloped and undulating greens are a challenge to putt. Water comes into play on a few holes, and there is ample bunkering throughout the course maintaining the challenge of Currahee Course. Playing to nearly 7,500-yards from the tips, this course is gigantic, but multiple tees keep Currahee accessible to a variety of handicaps and skill levels. For additional information call the club at (888) 560-2582 or visit them online at www.curraheeclub.com.
