About the course
This course was built on the side of a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Hole #1 starts at an elevation of 2,100 feet and the course moves up the hill reaching the highest point at 3,000 feet. There are great views of the ocean from virtually every hole. The course is both challenging and beautiful. There are different colored Bougainvillea planted aside the cart paths between the holes which adds a nice effect to the course. There are many deep sand and grass bunkers around the greens and on the fairways. Some of the greens are narrow and long which makes it a challenge when selecting the correct club for your approach shot. The greens are also sloped or tiered which adds to the challenge.
