About the course
This resort, which was named by "GOLF Magazine" to its 1998 list of "Silver Medal Resorts," has two regulation eighteen hole courses. These two courses are set among lava fields and alongside the ocean. The Beach Course is more of a resort course because of its narrow fairways. The Kings' Course is more of links-style design because it features deep sand bunkers. A LPGA tournament was held here in 1992. The green fees are less if you stay at the resort. The phone number for the Kings pro shop is (808) 886-7888. The Waikoloa Golf Academy is located on the premises. Daily one-hour clinics, private lessons and one and three-day schools are offered.
