River Oaks is a championship 18-hole course. The Little Calumet River winds through this south suburban course, and water comes into play on 14 of the 18 holes. This course was built on predominantly flat terrain, but there are some hills which can cause uneven lies. The tree-lined fairways are well maintained, and there are 58 strategically placed sand traps throughout the course.
