About the course
This club has an eighteen hole regulation course and an eighteen hole par 3 course. The Championship Course was designed with the Scottish links-style in mind. Its front nine affords generous landing areas in the fairways, but its back nine has extremely narrow fairways. The large greens are elevated and undulating, and every one is guarded by sand bunkers. In addition, ponds come into play on fourteen holes. The signature hole is #17, a 369-yard, par 4, featuring a covered bridge that crosses over one of the water hazards. Nearby Carlyle Lake is famous for being the largest land-locked lake in the state, attracting 4.5 million visitors each year. The scorecard for the Championship Course doesn't show handicaps for individual holes. The Par 3 Course is a great place for beginners or experienced players to work on their short games. The scorecard for the Par 3 Course doesn't show handicaps for individual holes. Players are allowed to walk the Par 3 Course.
