About the course
This traditional course features small greens and narrow fairways. The signature hole is #14, a 400-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway, then an approach shot through a narrow entrance to a sloped green which is framed by large trees. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 9th "Best in State" course for 1995, and "GOLFWEEK" named it 79th best among "America's 100 Best Classical Courses" for both 1997 and 1998, and 89th in 1999. The 5,984-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.6 and slope of 126.
