This course has numerous trees lining its fairways. One of the reasons the course plays so difficult is because of the many elevation changes. The course was rated by "GOLF Magazine" as one of the top ten best new courses in the Country for 1989. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 7th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996.
