About the course
Canewood Golf Course is an eighteen hole championship track designed by architect Danny McQueen. The front nine is constructed on rolling Kentucky farmland. The back nine has more dramatic elevation and terrain changes, including four holes that wind along the bluffs and banks of Elkhorn Creek. The fairways are generally tree lined, and lead to medium-sized greens that are undulating and fast. Water comes into play on six holes.
