About the course
This rolling course has elevation changes that range from seventy feet above sea level to 120 feet below. A huge forest consisting of pines, oaks and other native trees surrounds the 1,000-acre facility. A large lake once used by local fisherman comes into play and must be carried on three holes. A housing community sits in among the trees, and construction is limited to an area surrounding the front nine. The course has hosted many tournaments, including the U.S. Open qualifier in 1999 and will host the Senior U.S. Open qualifier in 2000. This facility hopes to expand to twenty-seven holes in the near future. Signature Hole: 16 - #16 is a 162-yard par 3 with a peninsula green, that plays out into a 180-acre lake system.
