About the course
This very scenic course will provide you with the opportunity to watch alligators in their natural environments. The fairways are narrow and lined with numerous trees, and the greens are large and flat. There are seven holes where water comes into play. The course is open until noon on Monday. The course is host of the Tight Lies Tour's Hibernia Open, LA Scratch Tour Event, and the Ellendale Spring 4-Ball Signature Hole: 18 - Measuring 470 yds from the gold tees, this is one of the hardest Par 4 finishing holes in Louisiana. Your drive should be placed down the right center of the contoured fairway that has a rolling hill down the entire right side. A large water hazard is located down the left side of the hole that will catch a pulled tee shot and a steep faced fairway bunker was added on the left side near the hazard that is 280 yards to carry. Two greenside bunkers guard the front portion of the green and a large collection/chipping area is placed towards the right side of the green area. Make a par on this long dogleg left par 4 and you have done well.
