About the course
This course was cut out of mature woods and is located on gently sloping terrain. The greens are large, and water comes into play on nine of the eighteen holes. There are no blind shots in the design. Due to the location of the course, wildlife such as deer, moose, wild turkey and pheasant are seen in the vicinity. The Maine Open Championship was held here in 1996 and 1997. The John Jacobs Golf School is located on the premises.
