About the course
This typical Scottish links-style course was designed alongside the Atlantic Ocean. The island is only two miles by five miles wide, and the ocean can be seen from every tee. The course is quite undulating, and both the tees and greens are elevated. The fairways are generous, and the greens are very small. Several sand bunkers, ravines, gullies, and water hazards come into play throughout the entire course. The signature hole is #7, a 110-yard, par 3, which tees off on the Key of the harbor and requires a tee shot that must carry 80 to 90 yards of water to a small, elevated green. The course is closed to the public on Mondays and Thursdays. The year-round population on the island is 300, but increases to 800 during the summer months.
