About the course
This course was built on the rocky terrain of southern Maine. This historic site, which rests on the Maine/New Hampshire border, was once the center of the largest navel fleet in the United States. The tree-lined fairways, which at first are deceiving, end up being forgiving and generally wide. The rough along the fairways is dense. There are significant elevation changes on the fairways, as well as the tee boxes and greens. Water comes into play on five holes.
