About the course

Formerly known as Chantilly Manor Country Club, Chesapeake Bay Golf Club Rising Sun is a traditional style course designed by architect Russell Roberts. The generous fairways are a mix of open and tree lined, and the course is laid out over flat terrain. The small to medium size greens are flat and fast. Rising Sun plays from 5,248 to 6,748-yards and offers four sets of tees, most of which are raised. The course plays to a par of 71 and is suitable for all handicaps and skill levels. For additional information call the pro shop at (410) 658-4343 or visit the club online at www.chesapeakegolf.com.
Signature Hole: 4 #4 is a 392-yard, par 4 that demands a perfect tee shot to avoid the out-of-bounds area to the left and pond to the right. A 3-wood or long iron is best off the tee, and accuracy is key.
