About the course
This course includes a mansion that once belonged to the Balfour company's CEO of "finger ring fame." The mansion overlooks hole #8. This course's greens are small and its undulating fairways are narrower than the U.S. Open fairways. There is water that comes into play on three holes. This club was first founded in 1892 and has been listed, by the USGA, as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
