About the course
According to the "Guinness Book of World Records," this course is the longest in the world, measuring 8,325 yards with a rating of 80.0 from the back tees. There is a par 6 hole, which features the largest green in the world, measuring 33,840 square feet. This course was redesigned in 1971 by Robert Trent Jones. A new 18-hole course, The Oaks, opened in June 2001. Designed by Tom Fazio, the addition of The Oaks Course makes The International the only 36-hole private club in Massachusetts.
