This course was built on small rolling hills. The fairways vary from narrow to wide open, and the large greens are undulating. Water hazards (streams and ponds) come into play several times. The signature hole is #12, a 590-yard, par 5, which plays downhill from off the tee box, then uphill, requiring two shots over water to an elevated green.
