About the course
This very scenic and hilly course features many changes in elevation. The fairways are tight, and the greens are small and fast. Water hazards (ponds and streams) come into play on fourteen holes, including the final one, a 500-yard, par 5, with a stream crossing in front of the well-bunkered green. Phil Wogan designed ten new holes, which opened in 1974.
