About the course
This resort has two very scenic regulation eighteen hole courses. Its patrons have included the likes of Clark Gable, Carole Lombard, and the matchless Captain Billy Fawcett, 1920's publishing magnate of Whiz-Bang Comics fame. His own elegantly rustic home here on the fabled shores of Big Pelican Lake is still a lodging place for hundreds of Breezy guests each year. The White Birch Course is longer than the Traditional Course. In addition, the White Birch Course's fairways are wider and its greens are larger. The Traditional Course has narrow fairways and small greens. Both courses feature fast greens which are undulating and very tricky to read. Three water hazards come into play on the White Birch Course, while only one water hazard comes into play on the Traditional Course.
