About the course
This is a high desert course in a valley framed by mountains rising to elevations of over 11,000 feet. There are no sand bunkers or vegetation areas, so beginners will enjoy playing here. Over 300 trees were planted in 1995 and they are slowing maturing along the open fairways. The greens are medium-sized, and water hazards (ponds) come into play on nearly every hole. When playing from the championship tees, this is the longest course in Nevada
