About the course
This exclusive club maintains three well-manicured eighteen hole courses for their 1,200 members. The Forest Course was carved out of the forest and features narrow fairways with mounding that will create some interesting lies. The greens vary in design, but are exceptionally large and loaded with subtle undulations. Water hazards come into play on two holes. The most difficult hole to play is #18, a 602-yard, par 5, which plays uphill and requires a tee shot that must carry a pond. The River Course has the Lamington River meandering into play on twelve holes. The fairways are wide open, and the terrain is rolling. The most difficult hole to play is #7, a 409-yard, par 4, with a dogleg left fairway and undulating green which are both protected by plenty of sand bunkers. The Meadow Course was built in a meadow and is the most hilly of the three courses, especially the back nine. Be prepared for many up and downhill shots to small greens. Water hazards come into play on seven holes. The most difficult hole is #15, a 463-yard, par 4, which requires two long, uphill, into the wind shots to a well-bunkered green. For additional information call the club at (908) 439-2513 or log on to their website at www.fiddlerselbowcc.com.
