About the course
This well-designed course features the famous Pecos River flowing nearby. Many of the fairways are dogleg designs, so being able to work the ball to both the right and the left is a big plus. The most difficult and, in some peoples' opinion, the most scenic hole is #14, a 364-yard, par 4, because it requires a tee shot over a beautiful water hazard. Brad Benz and Mike Poellot designed the back nine, which opened in 1984, and they redesigned the original holes at the same time.
