About the course
This traditional course originally opened in 1921 as a nine hole layout, and was expanded to eighteen holes in 2000 by architect Gil Hanse. The layout is wide open, but very undulating. The tee boxes are elevated, and the fairways are average width. There is water that comes into play on three holes. The small greens are elevated and very fast. Frank Duane redesigned three holes of the original holes in 1974. The pro shop opens at 6:30 AM on the weekends. There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
