About the course
This is a difficult course because the tree-lined fairways are narrow, and the medium-sized greens are fast. There are several blind fairways in the design, and the rolling terrain can produce some awkward lies. There's virtually no water on the course and very few sand bunkers. This course plays very long for a beginner and can be an intimidating place to learn the sport. Stephen Kay redesigned the original layout in 1989. There is an additional set of men's tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
