About the course
This scenic course is located in the Appalachian Mountains. The course was built on basically flat terrain, but the greens are large and undulating. Water hazards come into play on most holes. The signature hole is #6, a 508-yard, par 5, featuring a dogleg right fairway that plays through the woods, a green that is hidden from view until golfers are 250 yards into the hole's design, and a lake crossing on the approach shot with a sand bunker on the right side of the green. This hole is located in front of the clubhouse. For additional information call the pro shop at (828) 264-8760 or visit the club online at www.boonegolfclub.com.
