About the course
This course is located high atop beautiful Slickrock Mountain, and is considered by its personnel to be one of the most dynamic and visually compelling courses in the country. From its highest to lowest point, the course drops approximately 900 feet in elevation. The view from the green on hole #7, a 572-yard, par 5, looks across a valley to the 6,684-foot peak of Mount Mitchell, the highest point east of the Rocky Mountains. "Golf Digest" ranked this course the "Best New Private Course of 1995."
