About the course
This course, which opened in 1996, is geared to the family, as illustrated by its variation of different sets of tees to accommodate all ages. The course has mounds throughout the rough which is a classic trademark of Rees Jones' designs. The backside is very hilly and plays like a mountain course. The greens are challenging, but fair. Water comes into play on eleven holes. The most difficult hole is #6, a 430-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot onto the fairway, which narrows as it nears the green. The 6,065-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 76.2 and a slope of 138. This club is home to the Dana Rader Golf School. There is a separate private course owned by the resort, which is listed elsewhere in the directory.
