About the course
The resort features two regulation eighteen hole courses. The Ocean Point Course features four holes designed to play alongside the ocean and eleven other holes providing scenic ocean views. The newest addition to the resort is a very scenic eighteen hole course named Ocean Creek, which opened in October, 1995. This course was Love's first venture into golf course design. The signature hole for this course is #6, a 185-yard, par 3, featuring a beautiful view of the ocean. Salt marshes and the native wetlands have also been incorporated into this course's design. The area, before the new course was built, was used as the jungle settings for the movies "The Jungle Book" and "Forrest Gump." The head professional for the Ocean Creek Course is Jack Kolb and the superintendent is Jerry Ross. The 5,649-yard men's tee on the Ocean Creek Course also has a ladies' course rating of 74.0 and slope of 131.
