About the course
This course is the first collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and his son, Jackie. The club is a private gated community within the 1,712-acre residential and golf community on Hilton Head. The course features a traditional design that places a premium on shot accuracy. The fairways afford generous landing areas, and the greens are well bunkered. Water hazards come into play on twelve holes. "Golf Digest" selected this course 10th among the "Top 10 Best New Private Courses" for 1996. The 5,658-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 66.8 and a slope of 118. You must be a property owner to become a member of this club. Private instruction is available.
