About the course
This course was built on rolling and hilly terrain. The greens are large and fast, and the fairways are fairly wooded. The signature hole is #9, a 172-yard, par 3, requiring a shot over a pond that guards the front of the green. There are two ponds that come into play on five holes, and sand bunkers protect most greens. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 9th "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996. The club has hosted the New England Amateurs Tournament, and the 1997 Vermont Amateur.
