About the course

Located on the southern-most tip of Virginia's Eastern Shore, Bay Creek is a 1,729 acre master planned marina and golf community. Bay Creek will be home to two semi-private 18-hole courses, the Palmer and the Nicklaus, both designed by their namesakes. The first to open this June is the 18-hole par 72 Palmer course. It measures just over 7,000 yards from the back tees and will take golfers through heavily wooded areas and long stretches of water, with several holes looking out onto Chesapeake Bay. The Nicklaus course is scheduled to open some time in 2002. Ultimately, both nines of the Palmer and Nicklaus courses can be combined into a variety of 18-hole combinations. Community and course information can be found at www.baycreekgolfclub.com and www.bay-creek.com.
