About the course
This club has two regulation eighteen hole courses. These courses were built on hilly terrain and have narrow fairways lined with many trees that can affect your shots. There is a slight slant to the terrain on many holes, so your tee shot can bounce into trouble if your shot isn't hit correctly. The small greens are slightly sloped, medium speed, and one of them is double-tiered. There are a water hazard in play on one hole and gorges you must cross over on another two holes. The signature hole is #2 on the Woodlawn Course, a downhill 324-yard, par 4, with two fairways to choose from for approaching the green protected by two large sand bunkers. This hole was on the cover of "Golf Digest" in October of 1972.
