About the course
Just south of Seattle is Washington National Golf Club. Open for play in August 2000, this par 72 course measures just over 7,000 yards and was designed by John Fought and Orrin Vincent. The fairways are generally flat and tree-lined. The greens are large, undulating, and fast. Washington National is a championship layout and has many native waste areas. Water comes into play on five holes. The course plays from 5,117 to 7,304-yards and five tees are available to challenge any golfer. All are rated and sloped for men, and the forward three are rated and sloped for women. Washington National also offers a full complement of practice facilities. For additional information call (253) 333-5000 or go to www.heritagegolfgroup.com.
