About the course
This somewhat open course was designed after the Scottish links-style. The beautiful layout offers numerous scenic views of the countryside and Mount Baker. One hole that combines trees, water and sand is #5, a 374-yard, par 4, which has trees on the left side of the landing area and water on the right. The green on this hole is also tucked beside trees and sand on the left, and water in back. The rough that borders the fairways is extremely thick, and the terrain is hilly. There are several elevated tee boxes, including some that feature drops of more than 150 feet in elevation to the fairways.
