About the course
This course, built on rolling terrain, has small greens and tight fairways. Water hazards come into play on six holes, and a few sand bunkers protect the greens and fairways. The greens are undulating, and the fairways are tree lined. The signature hole is #6, a 167-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to a small green. The most difficult hole is #4, a 422-yard, par 4, which requires a straightaway tee shot up a very narrow fairway with out-of-bounds markers guarding the entire left side of the fairway from tee to green. Bill Teufel redesigned the original holes in 1981.
