About the course
This hilly course has a defined cut of rough and tree-lined fairways, so shot accuracy is at a premium. Water hazards (a lake and a creek) come into play on several holes. Sand bunkers come into play on four holes, and the medium speed greens vary in undulation. The signature hole is #6, an uphill 446-yard, par 5, called the "Snake Pit." There are additional sets of tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
