About the course
This is the only 36 hole championship facility in west central Wisconsin: Mill Run and Wild Ridge. Mill Run is highlighted by many flowers growing in five decorative flower beds. The fairways are generally flat with a mixture of open and tree-lined. The greens are medium-sized, undulating and fast. Water hazards (ponds and a creek) come into play on at least five holes. Hole #15, a 434-yard, par 4, has trees lining both sides of the fairway at the spot where the green and fairway connect. Mill Run plays from 4,780 to 6,076-yards and there are three sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels. From the tips this course plays much longer than it says. Wild Ridge is truly one of only a few championship courses in west central Wisconsin. It offers a lot of dramatic layouts, playing through woodland knolls, glacial ridges, valleys, and meadowland creek flats. The course plays through several distinct styles, from links to parkland. The rolling fairways are generally wide open and play to generous, undulating greens. Water comes into play on several holes, and a variety of additional hazards have been strategically placed throughout the course. Wild Ridge plays from 5,252 to 7,034-yards and offers six sets of tees to satisfy all handicaps. Normally the wind will be blowing and the greens will be like glass.
